2. Create your detective account: use the same email you bought with. Your case is saved to your account.

3. Examine the evidence: crime scene photos, forensic reports, diaries, interview recordings, phone records, and social media posts.

4. Build your case board: pin evidence, connect clues with red string, and mark up documents with a pen and highlighter.

5. Take notes: keep your own detective notebook and build your theory, page by page.

6. Use a hint if you're stuck: two hints are available on every case.

7. Submit your conclusion: name the killer and explain what happened before the case closes.

8. Discover the truth: After submitting you click on reveal and  find out who was guilty, how the case really unfolded.
